What do you have for my children?
From babies to eleven years old, Hope Kids provides fun, godly activities for your kids. Our nurseries care for infants through three-year-olds for the entire church service. Four-year-olds through eleven-years-old also check into Hope Kids before service starts. Your children are sure to have a fantastic time in an exciting environment that features games, Bible lessons, skits, videos, and more, while you receive God's Word for yourself.
For an easier checkin, simply click the church center app and add Hope Community Church of Houma to get a head start on the check in process.
What about Jr. high and High school students? On Wednesday nights, Momentum Student Ministry meets at the church building. Youth services are power-packed, God-centered events that bring students the Word of God in a format that grabs their attention.
Sunday mornings, Jr. high and Sr. high school students are involved in the main church services with their friends. Some help teach nursery and children's church, and others are involved in worship or usher teams.
How do I join Hope Community Church?
Joining our church is easy. Simply start attending First Steps which is offered every Sunday moring in our Membership classroom. This is a four week class that teaches of the mission and vision of Hope Communty and how you can be a part of Hope Community.
How do I become a part of Community?
Having you as part of our family is our goal. It's part of what God expects His church to do; He wants us to be in community with other Christians so that we can help each other to grow in Him.
With this in mind, our church features two ways to do just that.
One way is Wednesday night discipleship classes at 6:30 that teach, help, encourage, and admonish one another in the Lord. Joining Wednesday night discipleship classes is the best way to become friends with other families in the church.
The other way is through monthly small group meetings withing home right here in the Houma area. This is a great way to meet other in community and walk together in your relationship with the Lord.
